The Jonas Group

 

Experience:

John Jonas is the Founder and CEO of The Jonas Group.  Mr. Jonas founded the company in 2001.

 

Prior to founding The Jonas Group, Mr. Jonas worked at Lechter’s Housewares, his family business, a then $300M Publicly traded company with 600 stores.

 

Working at his father’s side, Mr. Jonas gained a deep knowledge and practical experience in all the functional areas of a retail business.

 

This experience gave Mr. Jonas a complete understanding of the roles The Jonas Group now fills for its’ clients.

 

Education:

Mr. Jonas received his BA from Brown University.

 

Other:

Mr Jonas is very involved in the arts, having been a jazz musician in NYC in his early adult years and is now a passionate art collector/investor.

He is also on the Boards and very active in both his family charity - Jonas Philanthropies and Jonas Center for Nursing Excellence and Hands In For Youth/Camp Vacamas which enriches the lives of less advantaged youth.
